This is a cross-post from my patreon account. This meditation was written up and posted in my free posts. I have been pondering recording it and offering it up for my paid patreons.
I had time to sit in my sacred space today while everyone else napped. I lit my candles and opened myself up to listen to the goddess. Here is a meditation that came to me. You could read it out loud and record it so you can play it back later, or just read along and meditate as you go.
Get comfortable, close your eyes and breathe deeply. Feel your breath. Feel your body relax as you breathe in and breathe out. Sink into your meditative state and relax.
Find yourself in a small cottage. The floor is made of dirt and simple rugs. The furniture is plain wood and sturdy. The hearth has a roaring fire lit within, it is a cozy and warm space.
Sit in front of the fire and gaze at the flames. You feel yourself relaxing even more.
Get comfortable in your seat. Next to you is a basket, reach in and pull out an item. This is something that will help you creatively. Examine it. Do you already use this? Have you found something new? How can you use this to bring in more creative energy?
Hold onto this object and look back at the fire. Let the flames relax you as you ponder. As you stare into the flickering flames you hear the Goddess whisper to you. Listen to Her as She speaks. The Goddess Brighid is here. Her voice echos all around you as She tells you what you need to hear.
As you listen to Her words you feel the spark growing inside you. The spark of creativity. It was always there, but maybe it had gotten quiet. Now it roars to life and you are filled with purpose.
Your hands, your mind, your whole body vibrates as you listen to Her words. You are ready to do the work again.
Her voice continues to whisper to you. Soak up what She has to tell you. She reminds you that She is always within you. Hold tight to Her words as She says goodbye. Let these new visions fill you.
Breathe deeply and feel your body. With each breath you become more aware of yourself and the room around you. Each breath brings you back to the present.
When you feel ready, open your eyes. Write out what you heard if you feel the need. And now go out there and do your work. You are ready!
